Up Your Game

We all have different goals. Some may have found their way to All Heart CrossFit to lose weight, to reap the health benefits associated with regular exercise, to compete, to gain muscle and lose fat, to be stronger, more fit versions of themselves, to make friends, to relieve stress, to become a part of a community. Maybe, hopefully, you have found all that and more within our walls.

You all should know that choosing CrossFit and dedicating just a bit of time each day to yourselves is one of the most important decisions that you can make for so many aspects of your health and well being. I pray that you have felt the difference that it makes in all realms of your life. I assure you that the harder you work in the gym, the greater the payoff you will see. January 1, 2015 I made a resolution to not waste any moments, choose happiness and see what comes of it. I challenge you all to do the same. Start with the hour that you spend with us at All Heart. Don’t just do some high knees and butt kicks to warm up, but really expend the energy and attention to execute the drills with precision. Stretch to your limit.  Pay attention to your muscles, to your balance, to your energy as you lift, and for goodness sakes use the percentages that we have prescribed for you to make the most of your lifting session!! WOD time: Don’t hold back. Let go of your fear of hitting the wall and push with every last bit of intensity that resides in you. Just to see. How much better can you be?
